We write press release to disclose and spread a news amongst readers. Press releases are becoming a successful way of Internet advertising. These not only provide valuable inbound links, but also increases traffic and thus your chances of getting located by search engines. But, all your efforts will get waste if the press release is not newsworthy or if it is distributed via a non-credible PR distribution site. There are only a few PR services providers who can provide you maximum visibility and credibility on the Internet. Follow these guidelines while choosing a press release distribution site:

So if the initial advice is to choose a press release site with a page rank of 4 or higher in Google, why did you provide all those page rank 5, 6, 7, 8 locations? Maybe I'm thinking backwards. But higher to me means closer to #1? Should I be thinking higher means closer to 10?
Thanks,

so what service would you recommend for all round PR exposure for 24 to 30 PRs a year of 500 to 850 words each? Some kind of package arrangement, with a PR company with a page ranking of 6+? thanks.

this is a good summary of pr distribution sites. another good source to compare press release services is http://www.bestpressreleasesites.com. it gives detailed info on statistics, regional focus and price for each service that helps you to make your decision which one to go for. my experience was that some pr sites are a waste of time, while others form an invaluable part of your pr strategy.
