Ask.com recently launched an upgraded interface named Ask3D through which users have a faster, easier and richer search experience. The name 3D stands for the three dimensions of searching – query expression, investigating results and excavating deeply into content. Ask3D presents the most relevant types of data in categories within the search results, segregated by content type. It means with Ask3D, you get everything on just one page. And the good thing is that you don't have to visit three different pages or websites to see and search through each dimension.

Ask3D is developed from the experimental Ask X interface. The changes between the two can be noticed in the initial interface itself. While Ask X was nothing more than a search box, Ask3D has specific categories for Web, Images, Ask City, News, Blogs and even for extras like video, maps and shopping.

Other changes include the binoculars function showing larger preview images, one click saving to your Ask favourites and even the ability to play video clips. There are fewer ads on Ask.com as compared to other search engines. The page is devoted to more contents and tools. The impressive and exciting new features will definitely help the users.

The latest features of Ask.com are pretty cool. The variety of search results sources from the speciality data bases is great. Greg Sterling is ready to give competition to other search engines with the latest features. Examples of Ask.com's latest feature include Gwen Stefani, Lord of the Rings and Oakland.
