Blogger Threatened By An Online Store Over Google Rankings
December 14th, 2006 | RSS Feed
Weird things happen to people all over the world. Lately a blogger Dean Hunt has been threatened by an online store with legal consequences. Reason being, Dean's blog's page ranking is higher than that of the online store on Google search engine.
The owner of the online store sent the bizarre google request to Dean on 12th of December. He threatened Dean with legal action if Dean didn't remove his blog from Google listing for a specified key word. It is amusing to note that the online store owner so overly concerned with Google ranking is not aware that Google is the whole and soul of web page ranking and Dean has no hold over it. Dean has not yet revealed the name of the online store owner which has added to the restlessness of people looking for online amusements.
