Brazil Threatens To Fine Google

Brazilian authorities have given Google 15 days to turn over user information from websites that promote criminal activity, threatening the company with $23,000 in daily fines if they do not comply. Google confirmed that they would work with Brazil to shut down Orkut communities that violate Orkut's terms of service.
However, according to the court filing in Sao Paulo, those requirements have been 'unsatisfactorily met.' Read more here.
