Google Announces AdSense Ads with Doubleclick.net Clickthrough for Feeds Updates

Google AdSense for Feeds recently announced that its ads will now run using the googleads.g.doubleclick.net clickthough URL, instead of the previous pageads.googlesyndication.com.

AdSense made this switch last month:

This change in the URL where the ads are served from is due to the DoubleClick ad serving cookie that we launched on the Google content network last year. Since this cookie is on the doubleclick.net domain, we’ve had to update our URLs to point to doubleclick.net, as well as to give you the associated benefits such as frequency capping and improved attribution.

Google recently announced the integration of Publishers Center with Google Ad Planner – Google Ad Planner Publisher Center. This new feature will help AdSense publishers to increase their site's visibility and attract potential advertisers.

AdSense publishers also have the option to integrate their site's Google Analytics to Google Ad Planner Publisher Center. It will allow potential advertisers to identify sites that display their ad campaigns based on site page views and unique visitors. Google AdSense Launches "Interest-based" Ads (Behavioral Targeting)

Google has recently launched the beta test of "Interest-based" advertising to make advertising more targetted.

"Today we are launching "interest-based" advertising as a beta test on our partner sites and on YouTube. These ads will associate categories of interest – say sports, gardening, cars, pets – with your browser, based on the types of sites you visit and the pages you view. We may then use those interest categories to show you more relevant text and display ads."
