Change Font Size of Ad Text with New AdSense Feature

Just after introducing the AdSense feature that allows changing font faces of ad units, Google has now announced another feature related to it. This time it is changing the size of the fonts of the text in AdSense ad units. You have an option to choose from three font sizes – small, medium and large.

The Inside AdSense blog is talking about important things that should be remembered while changing the font size. These include:

• Ad titles will be scaled.
• Font size can only be applied to the body of the ad.
• There will be a different font size for each format size, browser, font face and OS settings on the user side.
• The font size application will however vary as per the space available in the ad units.

Google has also announced that the default font size of all the AdSense units will soon be changed to “medium” size, which is currently set at “small” size. The company has taken such step as a response to the publisher feedbacks about the small size of the text, because larger font size leads to an improved ad performance.

If you want to change the font size of your ad settings, go to account's Ad Display Preference and choose the font size you want to have. This changed font size can be implemented across all the AdSense ad units or in a special ad unit only.
