Clusty.com Search Engine Adds Labs, Features and Redesign
October 5th, 2006 | RSS Feed
Clusty.com, a 'clustering search engine' by Vivisimo Search Technology which was designed two years back, has now got a makeover. It has now been enhanced with the addition of new features such as font size selector, a “more” tab, and the ability to search within results. Vivisimo's engineers have also added a special “Labs” page that hosts new search applications.
From the release:
“At the Clusty Labs page, consumers can try out Clusty Cloud, a customizable visualization tool that lets users see an immediate overview of any topic on the web, and do specialized searches of a Benjamin Franklin portal or of Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets. The Labs page will serve as a testing ground for improvements in the overall search experience for end users. New technologies developed and tested in the labs will shape future versions of Velocity, the company’s enterprise search platform.”
