Yahoo! Canada is using all kinds of marketing techniques to spread its arms all over, in the world of search engine market. This time it has managed to do a new partnership with the Air Miles Rewards Program, and will issue Air Miles collectors some reward miles if they will conduct their searches through Yahoo!.

"This is a great opportunity to partner with a loyalty program to offer reward miles to Canadians, and we believe this will help Yahoo! Canada to continue to be a force in the highly competitive search business," said Director of Network Optimization, Gina Cothey, Yahoo! Canada.

Toolbar installation for cash or reward points is not something new! It's just that the practice is now getting common day by day.

"As Canada's leading loyalty program, we are committed to expanding the ways our Collectors can earn reward miles,"; said Chief Marketing Officer, Neil Everett, AIR MILES Reward Program. "This agreement has the potential to re-shape online consumer behaviour through one simple download."
