Ebay Back on Google Big Time
October 1st, 2008 | 983 Views RSS Feed
I think that Ebay has realized how important are Google ads for them! I think that they have realized it in the beginning of this week, they are all over Google Adwords again and that too after taking a long holiday!
According to me, it is not at all a good news specially for the advertisers.
A lot of discussion has been going on the webmasterworld
Let us have a look at what the webmasters and general public have to say about it:
I made my living off of marketing for them for 7 years, but now I just hope to see their upper-management carted through the streets of San Francisco in shackles just like the Enron scum. Sorry, but I absolutely hate that they decided to prop up their failing stock price by skimming off of the affiliate program and calling the ePN an improvement. Looks like they're trying to make up for the loss of traffic when a lot of affiliates fled by buying Google traffic themselves. – bw3ttt

I know ebay made a lot of changes with their affiliate program but I didn’t know that ebay had stopped advertising on Google. Do you think this is going to affect the marketers? Ebay is going to drive up the cost per click prices. I don’t think the public is really happy about ebay coming back. It was a bad move for ebay to leave in the first place.

Yes they certainly have realized the importance of google ads placing and therefore sticked to the basics once again.
