Google’s PPA And Tex Link Ads Mean Boon To Bloggers
March 28th, 2007 | RSS Feed
Google’s new pay-per-action advertising program is sure to be huge favorite with bloggers. There is a nice post by Greg Gershman at Search Engine Journal which explains why the new program will enable bloggers to heighten their earnings from advertisements.
While the context-based AdSense ads were against drawing attention to the ads, the new system actively encourages such practices. Thus bloggers can write a whole post around a theme which accommodates links more effectively. It is also true that the new textual ads will be more like hyperlinks which can be freely embedded in any part of the post, paragraph or sentence.
However, there are also problems, such as what happens about blog syndication which will not include any java scrip, therefore, not even the ads. However, Google is expected to work around these problems.
