Google users can now develop client applications that download Analytics data in the form of Google Data API feeds, with the help of Google Analytics Data Export API.

You can use the Data Export API to request data from an authorized Analytics profile user and also refine the result on the basis of query parameters.

At present, Data Export API is available in public beta and has a read-only access to Google Analytics Data. Even the current feeds in the Data Export API has been categorized into two groups:

  • Analytics accounts and website profiles
  • Analytics report data from a single profile

Developers can use this API in a number of cases. For instance, you can create a customized dashboard that integrates your most commonly viewed or requested page statistics without accessing the Google Analytics reporting interface.

    Hello,

I have created a simple Windows application that allows you to export your Google Analytics data into a Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, or a number of other applications. Any data elements can be exported. Unlike other applications available for this, you do not need to have Microsoft Excel installed. The application can also export an unlimited number of data rows from Analytics. It supports accounts with multiple profiles associated too.

The application is called “Google Analytics Connector” and you can learn more by visiting http://www.synergetechsolutions.com/googleanalyti...

    Thanks!
