Google And Clearwire Buddy Up To Enhance Clearwire's Services

Clearwire has pronounced that it is partnering with Google to support its back-end infrastructure for e-mail, chat and calendar services to provide better offerings to its customers. However the customer's wouldn't notice the change as they would still be able to access their present Cleawire.net e-mail accounts.

In terms of service enhancements, clearwire's customers would now be able to access features and services similar to Google Apps suite, including Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Talk.

Clearwire's spokesperson, Helen Chung also spelled out the future of the partnership, "Down the road we will build up our own portal and use Google search capabilities for any portal applications we will build." However, she refused to divulge further details about the duo's partnership.
