Google Axes Ads Automator
December 30th, 2006 | RSS Feed
Ads Automator was developed by Google in 2004 to enable the advertisers to feed pages to the search giant. After getting feeds, Google prepares the best keywords for those pages and automatically creates ads that link to them.
Google has removed the Ads Automater feature due to the changes in the recently launched Froogle, a Webmaster World Forum thread reports.
Someone in the forum quoted, "I noticed that Google Base allows you to upload a feed of products which will also be added to your adwords campaigns. Unfortunately they don't seem to accept my feeds as I am in Australia and the Google Base system is not available here. I know that other sites use this system, one of our affiliates and ebay do it. I want to know how they do it ?"
As of now, there is no indication of its return in near future.
