Google Continues to Become more Localized- Introduces Local Search Results in Google Maps!

Google continues to make its search results more localized. The new improvement is believed to make searching information more simple and easy.
Generally, users types in simple searches like restaurants instead of restaurants in Houston. Therefore, to overcome this obstacle Google has released a local search results on a map. Now, when you type in a location, Google will match your IP address to a broad geographical location and show results near you.

Users can also specify their location by clicking on the “Change location” available on the top right corner of the Google map.
With the help of this tool, users can even search for specific stores or street address.
Here's an example:
Suppose you live near Cornelia St Cafe in New York. Then, just type in “Cornelia St Cafe” in the Google search bar and you'll find a map of your locality.
