Google bans made for adsense site, creates furor among the community!

There is one very interesting group of bloggers at a thread at Google Groups. The bloggers include SEO Buzz Box, DaveN, and Search Engine Journal and everyone is ready to voice their reactions. This time the discussion was about a more than ten year old site http://www.alkenmrs.com. The owner of the website realized that his site had been de-listed from Google without any warning. With help from his friends, he addressed what he thought were technical issues related to his site. But even so, his site was not re-indexed and the Google crawler had never come.
Adam Lasnik of Google in a very cool manner explains that this particular site might have some problem after all. Look at what he says, “Imagine this scenario. You walk into a store and some guy — surprisingly the owner — grabs you by the shoulder. "How'd you like some beer? Oh, hey, we also sell coffee. Hmm… you don't want something to drink? We specialize in air purifiers, too! And you know what… after you drink some beer next to your new air purifier, I bet you could use a date, right? No, no, not the eating kind… I'm talking a really nice lady! And if she ends up stealing your identity, well, no problem! I sell Identity Theft protection services… and… wait! Wait…come back!!!"
Later he also points out that “ the site owner needs to put that into perspective online as it's no different.â€
Loren Baker at the discussion forum said that the site has 'lack of quality, focus and trust.' Dave Naylor also shares the same opinion like the other two experts. He points out, the site was Made for AdSense. Google looks for relevancy and nothing else and if the site has no value to visitors and then whats the reason to crawl it. So, Google is all set to take steps to assure that ‘Made for AdSense’ sites that are mostly unfocused, decentralized and give no real value to the searcher are not listed in Google results.
