It has been more than two weeks since the massive tragedy struck Mumbai in the form of those brutal attacks! The fact has been made clear that the terrorists made use of Google Earth to locate the target-locations in Mumbai. Because of this bitter truth, legal advocates in India are asking the country’s High Court and demanding that Google should blur sensitive locations on its map.

According to The Times “the Mumbai terrorists concentrated their attacks in south Mumbai, a popular tourist location. However, the plea filed with the Bombay High Court claims that Google Earth includes "absolutely no control to prevent misuse or limit access" to details of nearby sensitive locations, such as the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.â€

Also, the government has permanent evidence that the terrorists made use of high-tech tools including GPS to plan the entire attack, execute it in the best way possible, and later monitor the attacks as well. Kasab, the only terrorist who was captured alive has reportedly told police that the terrorists used internet facilities, like Google Earth to learn about Mumbai.

It is not the first time when something of this sort has happened. Terrorists these days are very easily making use of these technologies to conduct their inhuman, cruel and pathetic plan. It was in the year 2005 when Australian officials asked Google to remove the Lucas Heights nuclear reactor from Google Earth.
