Google Guys Discuss About The Future Of Newspaper

Recently, Google's Sergey Brin and Larry Page as well as YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley discussed about the future of newspaper. But didn't say anything about the rumours that have been running for quite some time about running BBC content on Google Video.

In Davos, Switzerland, a discussion between Sergey Brin, Larry Page and Chad Hurley took place about the future of the newspapers. Page felt that the news displays in computer still has to go a long way and newspaper (in print) still rules. Although he admits unabashedly that he reads all his news online. In this matter he was refuted by Brin. Page explained that he feels that paying for online newspapers should be hassle free, as many people really find it tough to memorize passwords for every account they subscribe to. He mentions about Google Checkout, where a user can browse over number of items without memorizing a number of passwords.

Regarding making profits, Chad says "We're already making money. No one is better at monetizing the Web than Google."
