Google Indexes Nascent Blogs Faster Than You Think!

If you're one of those who have just got on to blogging through either a Blogger or WordPress, you could very well be thinking about when you would actually get indexed by Google. Several observations in the industry suggest that, while you might still not have umpteen incoming links, or perhaps not even any incoming link you blog still stands a chance to be indexed by Google fairly quickly.

There have been quite a few observations made by many and there appears to be unanimity in the belief that Google would index your blog quicker than you might believe it to do. So while there's no need for you to be overly anxious about it, still efforts to make your blog more visible to the Googlebot is a good idea, rather than simply leaving the whole thing to chance.

A good strategy is to make efforts to get some incoming links as the Googlebot has a great appetite for sites with incoming links, so it would increase the chances of it devouring yours if you do so.

Another good tactic is to update your blog frequently, this would make sure that your site is not only found quickly but stays put in Google's index. Getting into the index is the threshold, and that it is an opportunity for you to cash in on to increase your popularity and rankings by consistently writing content that compelling and intriguing.

A place in the index by itself is a good sign as it means that when users search they would find your Blog not only in the blog search, but also in the regular universal and several other searches such as for the videos, images, etc.
