Google India DNS Hacked?
January 9th, 2008 | RSS Feed
There has been an alarming number of reports that are constantly coming from a Forum speculating on a DNS hacking of Google India domain. The users are complaining that they were unable to use any of the Google property on its domain. This problem was something which was limited to Google India users only.
There also have been reports which are speculating a relation with the 2005 Google DNS glitch. The Indian users have complained that while trying to access Google, they were redirected to SoGoSearch. Apparently, even in the 2005 DNS glitch many of the users were redirected to SoGoSearch.
Was Google India DNS hacked or was it once again a system glitch? The answer to this question is something that only Google can give. But till now no explanations have come from them.
