Google Maps will be unveiling its latest feature through which users can create customized mashups with data from third party sources, informs News.com.
The accompanying image shows a Google map of Chicago, with points showing area hotels, transit lines and user-generated photos.

Just last week Google maps announced a new feature through which you can Customize And Personalize Even More Of Google Maps!. For eg: You can customize driving directions to follow the route of your choice. Simply click on the route, drag it around, and the purple line follows you. When you've found the route you want, just "drop" it there. Google Maps will automatically create a waypoint to where you dragged your route. If you change your mind, just right- click the added location marker and select "Remove this destination" to reset your route."
