The famous trademark entrepreneur Leo Stoller has been sued by Google, alleging that he owns the trademark of Google. Stoller has been charged for RICO violations, unfair competition and false advertising. Though Google has filed a case but it will be an uphill task for the company to prove charges against Stoller. The trademark law has no provisions which could penalize untrue claims of trademark ownership. Google has charged false advertising claims under Lanham Act and this may also be not easy for the search engine giant to prove as it is not included in the trademark-licensing business. On the other hand Leo Stoller is vowing to destroy Google by the case and claims that stock price of the company will come down to below $5.

Please don't forget to say what "famous" trademark entreprenuer Leo Stoller is known for. If you read through the cases, time and time again the courts have said Leo Stoller's
claims often are frivolous and fabricated, and that he resorts to various types of serious misconduct in an effort to further those claims. Calling Leo Stoller famous is a little like calling jaundice famous.

  4. Chili Palmer Says:

On December 4, 2009, the United States Court of Appeals entered an order (1) finding that Leo Stoller had been deceptive and dismissing his appeal; (2) reinstating the Mack Bar against Stoller for at least two years; and (3) ordering that the matter be referred to the United States Attorney to consider whether Leo Stoller should be prosecuted for perjury.
