Google, The Best Company To Work: Fortune Survey

According to a Fortune survey Google is first in the list of  "100 Best Companies To Work For 2007". There are many things which have placed Google at the top of the list. Google employees at  Mountain View lead a college life. The most intelligent persons and engineers are shabbily dressed. It is like the most intelligent university imaginable where every student can have a sports car.
 
In its Mountain View, California headquarters, there are 11 free gourmet cafeterias. These cafeterias provide free meals to all its workers. Then there are snack rooms filled with various  nuts, candy, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit and other snacks. There are also various kinds of drinks including soda. But there are some chinks in the armor also. Some of the previous employees at Google give a different picture of the company. Some ex-employees said the company was not able to control its size and conservatism was finding ground. With the number of employees growing in thousands the democracy of Google was loosing its sheen.
