Google's New Feature: Expandable "Plus Box"
December 11th, 2006 | RSS Feed
Google has introduced something interesting for webmasters and local businesses. The feature integrates with main web search. With this new feature, if someone searches for your business and Google knows your business address, an expandable "Plus Box" will be included in search result listings. If you have a local business you can also get a Plus Box. Submit your business address at Google’s Local Business Center.
The feature is available for free. You can also upload multiple listings if you have multiple store locations. With Google Maps, you don't have to worry about publishing deadlines or outdated content. After Google initially verifies your address, you can edit your listing at any time.
