Guruji.com, India's first search engine has launched city specific search for Pune. With this new service, Guruji wants to ensure Puneites quick and accurate local search results. For instance, a user enters a keyword, say "restaurants in pune", he would get local business listings, articles, reviews, blogs or any other web references of the searched item from Guruji.com pages.

Upbeat Anurag Dod, CEO and Co-founder of Guruji.com explains, "What sets us apart is our focus on the Indian market and the Indian consumer. When an Indian consumer types in a search keyword like 'newspaper' the results should show him websites of the top Indian newspapers rather than other news sites which are not relevant to him."
