Finally an alternative to YouTube has arrived. MSN has formally launched the beta version of Soapbox for all. For some time it was available only on the basis of invitation. Now it is accessible to all. 

Soapbox team said:
We just flipped the switch from an Invitation Only, to a Public Beta. No need to request an invitation and sign in to watch videos on Soapbox anymore. Have fun watching…

Microsoft has closed its Soapbox or video sharing sight for a couple of moths. This step has been taken to ensure that they develop some kind of a safeguarding system before the site becomes open to all. Soapbox was very recently launched in September and it was made open to all only in February this year.
