iNet Acquires Search Marketing Standard Magazine!

As per the publisher of Search Marketing Standard, Boris Mordkovich, the reputed online magazine has been acquired by iNET Interactive, which is a social media company. Although the acquisition took place in the month of July this year, still, due to the necessary changes that had to be made, the merger is to be formally announced on August 20th 2008.

According to the e-mail received at PageTraffic from Search Marketing Standard, “iNET is a social media company operating prominent online communities for Internet professionals and technology enthusiasts. Founded in 2002, iNET operates Web properties including Web Hosting Talk, the largest online community for hosting services professionals and HotScripts, the largest directory of scripts and hosted services.”

Boris further states that, “I believe that Search Marketing Standard, and its associated online properties, such as PayPerClickUniverse.com and SEMCompare.com, are a perfect fit with iNET Interactive‘s portfolio of media brands. I am confident, knowing the iNET team, that they will continue to grow and develop Search Marketing Standard and carry on its value to our advertisers and loyal readers.”

As per the merger details, iNet will keep the Search Marketing Standards' employees, and the magazine will work as usual. However, Troy Augustine, CEO iNet Interactive has asked Boris Mordkovich to give his valuable contribution to the magazine in the capacity of an 'Advisor'.

A fresh addition to the iNet management is Kelly Kleiner, who has been assigned the post of Vice-President, Sales at iNET Interactive.
