KinderStart.com Case Hearing On Friday
June 29th, 2006 | RSS Feed
The KinderStart.com lawsuit against Google which became subject of much discussion is up for hearing in US Federal Court this Friday. The allagations of the kinderstarts seems frivolous to many. It might as well be. But it raised some important questions regarding the ranking policy of Google.
Kinderstart alleged that Google had blocked their site leading to considerable drop in traffic and revenues. That was back in March 2005. They also argued that Google is not an objective source of relevant rankings. The judge Will rule on nine counts including whether Google should warn sites about changes in their ranking. It will also decide upon the financial damages KinderStart is seeking.
