Microsoft Adcenters Upgrade to Content Ads!Microsoft adCenter announces an Upgrade to Content Ads in “Search Only” Distribution through which users have the choice to “distribute your ad groups on the content network, but that we won’t expand your campaigns at the time of upgrade to include contextual distribution. All new ad groups created after the upgrade will be set to hybrid (expanded to both our search and content network).”

However, before making a prompt decision, know that content ads has benefits like:

  1. Content Ads advertisers enjoy control over their campaigns through distribution and pricing controls.
  2. Advanced reporting features also allow advertisers to see exactly how their ads are doing so they can make adjustments.

Further, there are three methods to manage your content ad campaigns.

  1. Hybrid: Run your ads on Live Search and content pages using "hybrid" ad groups.
  2. Content-only and search-only ad groups: With this option you can create a unique destination URL or have content-specific ad creative.
  3. Separate pricing for content clicks: Content Ads uses the same bid structure as your Search Ads. However, you also have the choice of setting different bid prices for content clicks by using the Separate Bid Pricing function.

A request form is to be filled out for an "on" position upgrade. Visit the Content Ads FAQ for more choices and control. Go to Microsoft adCenter Support Team for more knowledge and options.
