Microsoft Search On Shaky Ground!

ZD Net reports Microsoft is losing the battle for gaining high percentage of search engine users.
Microsoft, though still in third position, fell to 9 %, compared to last month's 10.1 %. Microsoft was followed by AOL on 4th place with 5.4 % (compared to last month's 5.8) and Ask.com maintained a 1.8% hold on the Search Engine share.
A thread at Webmaster World states that 2004 January's Search as Google 39.4%, Yahoo! 30.4%, MSN 29.6%, AOL 15.5%, Ask 8.5% and in 2005 November figures showed Google with 46%, Yahoo is second with 23%, and MSN third with 11%.
Google and Yahoo! who are on 1st and 2nd position still managed to gain more users this month. Google's search accounted for 55.2 % compared to last month's 55.2 % while Yahoo's stronghold increased from 21.8 % to 21.9 %.
