MSN Hindi: MSN And BBC's Latest Offing

In the latest news, MSN has tied up with BBC World Service in a deal where news from BBC Hindi will be available on MSN Hindi.

Ironically, ads are featured in English, as is the case in Yahoo! Hindi. As a thread in contentSutra notes, “who is the target audience then? People who want to read Hindi, but are also comfortable with English? Maybe it’s a font thing, but one issue I see with Hindi portals is that script is almost never textbook Hindi. Take a look at the MSN Hindi logo. Maybe it’s because I don’t have the right fonts installed – but that’s a problem that a lot of others are going to face. ”

However, the problem is only for Firefox and Opera Users, Internet Explorer users are safe from this typo.
