MyBlogLog Finally Bought By Yahoo!
January 9th, 2007 | RSS Feed
Yahoo! has finally bought MyBlogLog. In November of 2006 there were rumors that Yahoo! has bought MyBlogLog for $10 million but nothing was declared by either of the companies. MyBlogLog is a Florida based social network for bloggers. Though the company is a small one, comprised of just five employees but is extremely famous among the bloggers with membership of 45,000 people. The five member team will be part of Yahoo! Developer Network and will be based in San Francisco and Berkeley. Most members will report to Sr. Director, Yahoo! Developer Network, Chad Dickerson.
This deal strengthens the inclination of Yahoo! towards social networks. Yahoo! had lately included posts in Yahoo! Answers in its search results.
