4th of July is celebrated throughout the United States with fanfare and utmost enthusiasm. When the entire country is celebrating the day that marks the creation of an independent America, then the search engines are also not far behind in the celebrations. Many search engines expressed their love for the country with their celebratory logos. Here are some of them for you all to cherish.

Google: Google's logo displayed a lake with fireworks over the lake.

Yahoo!: Yahoo! went a step further, by incorporating an animated visualization of the American flag with the fireworks by its side.

Ask: Ask.com took the subtle approach for the independence day celebrations and instead of going for all the glamor, it showed the famous 'Declaration of Independence' with a feather pen and an inkpot alongside the Declaration.

MSN: MSN did sort of a reluctant job at decorating the logos. It only displays a small set of fireworks, around the MSN logo.

Live Search: Now this was one search engine, that I guess had nothing to do with America's most notable moment in history. Live.com did nothing at all to commemorate July Fourth.

This is a great example of the flexibility of the internet over print media. I've always enjoyed Google's celebratory logos for various holidays.
