SEMPO announces Agency Salary Survey!

In January, SEMPO's in-house SEM salary survey had announced that the search marketers are doing quite well financially. Now taking another steep in the same direction, SEMPO at present is engaged in a salary survey of agency search engine marketing professionals. The survey can be taken by anybody, irrespective of whether he/she is in SEMPO or not. However, to qualify for the survey, you must have the following requisites:

• You should be working at an agency devoted solely to SEM.
• You must be working at an agency with an SEM branch or division.
• You must be working at an agency that offers SEM in its mix of services.

There are around 30 questions in the survey. The Survey questionaire would ask you about the role that you play in the SEM company and the person you report to. And then with an oath of maintaining annonimity, the next question would be about your annual base salary range. The questions in the survey are aimed at finding out the salary, compensations packages and perks that SEM professionals enjoy. Though it is not limited to SEMPO members, but it is only for people working at agencies participating in search engine marketing or agencies totally dedicated to search engine marketing.

SEMPO, is a global non-profit organization serving the search engine marketing industry and marketing professionals. Recently, it has announced its new board of directors for 2008.
