The much awaited Sphere Blog Search Engine is launched. With all the secret beta testing going on for months the search engine now becomes live for all. This new Sphere Blog Search Engine has been launched to cover an enormous amount of fanfare. Several critics such as Steve Rubel, Michael Arington, and Chris Sherman  who is less of a blogger and more of an expert gave different views on the launch of the new blog search engine. Amongst their reviews, the best review was found to be posted by Graywolf at the Wolf-Howl who also displayed some of the interesting screen shots of the Sphere Blog Search Engine.

The ones who have visited this search engine says that the most important element of it is the bookmarlet called as "sphereit." The functionality of the feature is quite simple and can be directly located on the tool's page so that there is no need for you to repeat the function again. But the point to think over here is that why have they not chosen more content rich Flickr, despite of the fact that they are using Yahoo! to distribute news stories and podcast search results.

As compared to Google Blog and Yahoo! Blog Search, the Sphere Blog Search Engine has been launched with high expectations. May be this particular Blog Search Engine proves better than the other two.

Sphere Blog comes with a number of attractive features and tools:

* custom range histogram;
* a "sphere it" bookmarklet
* top queries this hour/ this week;
* RSS
* expanded related news articles coverage
