The Washington Post Co Buys Search Engine Marketing Company!

'The Washington Post Co.' reports that it has already bought 'CourseAdvisor Inc.', a Wakefield-based search engine marketing company at an undisclosed price. Basically, 'CourseAdvisor Inc.' deals with college and university programme. As The Washington Post attempts to boost its advertising, readership, circulation and publications, it has decided to buy this particular search engine. Positive results have also been found by the concerned authorities in education sectors. Statistical reports state that the total revenue is raised to $1 billion from $969 million.
It is to be kept in mind that 'The Washington Post Co.' not only owns its flagship newspaper, but also publications like 'Slate', 'El Tiempo Latino', 'The Gazette' and 'Southern Maryland Newspapers', 'Newsweek magazine' and 'Cable ONE'. From now, 'CourseAdvisor' will be regarded as an independent subsidiary of 'The Washington Post Co'.
