Top Brains Leave Google

'Netly news' informs that Benjamin Ling, one of Google's ecommerce efforts engineers, has left Google for 'Facebook'. Ling has a Ph.D degree in computer science from Stanford University. He was the mastermind of creating and running Google Checkout and Google SMS which let us perform Google search via text messages on our cell phones. He is also referred by people as one of 'Larry and Sergey’s golden boys'.

Sources report that apart from Ling, Gideon Yu, ex-Chief Financial Officer of 'YouTube', also has joined 'Facebook' as the company's new CFO. Even Bret Taylor and Jim Norris, two other senior Google engineers, also left Google in June to join 'Benchmark Capital', a venture capital firm. According to the statistical reports, as Google's stock goes higher, employees find it more enticing to cash out and leave. The top brains of Google are about to leave soon, sources report.
