Trademarked Keywords Are Now Shown By Google AdWords Keyword Tool!
November 6th, 2008 | RSS Feed
Google is now clearly showing whether the keywords are trademarked or not. The aspect is visible directly in the Google AdWords Keyword Tool.
For example, if a keyword: "iphone" is searched and it is returned with a little â„¢ symbol near the term, i.e. iphoneâ„¢, then it trademarked. Here is a picture:

The process can prove extremely beneficial for all those advertisers who always look forward to avoid bidding on trademarked terms. I am not exactly sure of the fact as to why this feature is added, but as far as my assumptions are concerned, it would majorly benefit the advertisers out there.

I don't see what you see in my Israeli (google.co.il) Hebrew interface. I've tried big brand names, including iphone, and none of them had the "tm" mark beside it. So it must be a new feature that hasn't rolled out to other parts of the world yet (outside USA).
