TrueLocal Launches Canadian Local Search Engine

TrueLocal is "a local search engine free to hundreds of thousands of users that is a Yellow Pages with brains because you can full text search on it." Brett Tabke from WebmasterWorld writes, " The website asks what you're searching for and where. It then displays a list of businesses matching the search term, along with contact information and driving directions."
A Canadian version of TrueLocal has now been launched. The owner, from Canada is a well known forum personality from WebmasterWorld.
