Web Marketing Firm iCrossing Acquires Web Solutions Company Proxicom Inc

The Arizona Republic reports that Scottsdale-based web marketing firm iCrossing has purchased Proxicom Inc an internet solutions company.
"iCrossing said combining with Proxicom gives it $100 million in annual revenue and makes it the world's largest privately held digital marketing company. It also will have 550 employees in 12 offices ranging from California to London. Terms were not disclosed."
It follows the $62 million in funding that iCrossing received last week from investment bank Goldman Sachs & Co., RRE Ventures, StarVest Partners and Oak Investment Partners.
Don Scales, the president of iCrossing said, "Our DNA is in search. Clients are looking to optimize their pages to be found. The logical extension of our strategy is to help them build those pages."
Some of iCrossing's clients include Coca-Cola, General Motors, eLUXURY etc.
