There is a very interesting discussion going on at Google Blogoscoped Forums  about how much people would pay for Google if it wasn't a free service. While some people are willing to pay for Google searches and Gmail but some say that since there is so much competition they will switch to some other free service and Yahoo! will be the next best option for them. Since Google earn so much from ads it is easily able to provide search and Gmail for free. Some people are heavily dependent on Google and are willing to pay for it. The price ranges from $1, $2, $50 to $100 a month. But most are of opinion that they would stop using Google and look for other free options.
