Yahoo! Enhances YPN Ads

Yahoo! Publisher Network has recently announced about their plans for reducing complexities in the advertisements. Yahoo! has taken this decision after getting feedbacks from thier customers. According to Yahoo! the simplyfying of the ads will in turn help improve the performance of your account. Yahoo! plans to simplify ads by removing some titles descriptions. In addition, number of link displays will also undergo changes.

Tom Furukawa, Director of Product Management, said "We’ve been doing some tinkering under the bonnet recently, so some of you may notice a few changes in your ads. The changes you’re likely to see include the removal of ellipses (…) and truncated words, the inclusion of 40-character titles on certain ad units, and a change in the number of ads displayed on certain ad layouts."
