All those who grieved the retirement of overture, can find some consolation in new section by Yahoo! Search Marketing Help Center now provides industry-specific keywords that could be related to your business! At the same time, it offers Industry-specific market research articles to help you get a deeper insight on a particular search.
"Industry-specific keywords with considerable search volume but typically fewer competing advertisers. Adding these keywords to your campaigns may help increase your traffic volume and improve overall campaign performance," stated Jeff Hecox of Yahoo! on the Yahoo! Search Marketing blog.

I think that the biggest problem that most people with for Yahoo stores succumb to is that they don’t do SEO. When people start a brick and mortar business, they recognize that marketing is going to be a important part of the success of their new venture. With yahoo stores, people often forget that they need to market their product. It would be nice if you could create a Yahoo store and all of a sudden, the world would beat a path to your door. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. If you want to be found online, you need to do some Google and Yahoo SEO.
