Yahoo! Maps Beta Sports New Improved Features

Yahoo! Maps beta is now enriched with several new features. Yahoo! is all set to meet the competition with the addition of these features. It will offer more comprehensive and detailed coverage. Yahoo! has stated that complete, elaborate maps powered with high-resolution satellite imagery will be available for all of lower 48 United States.

The resy of the globe will be featured in medium resolution maps. The images will be provided at 15 meters per pixel with a zoom level of 5 and medium resolution. This enables clear visibility of all major land feature in the world. Yahoo! has claimed that this is the most qualitative and comprehensive imagery available till now.
