Yahoo! Mobile Site Revamped

Lately, the Yahoo! Mobile site pertaining to many countries have received a site makeover with a new URL. The most prominent change is that the color of Yahoo! Logo has changed to a fresh purple.

Other changes reported by Resource Shelf are :

In some cases, ads appear at the top of the home page. We’ve posted a couple of times about spotting adson the U.S. version in the past few months (screen cap). However, 6ver the weekend we didn’t notice ads on the U.S. version but did spot them elsewhere. The same goes for promos for other Yahoo services as seen here on the Singapore site.

Each version contains and search box and two or three default services (with radio buttons to select). What you find, varies by version. In almost all cases, you’ll find:

• Web Search
• Image Search
• Local Search or Product Search.

Also, each mobile page offers a list of other Yahoo services available for mobile users in that region or country.
