Yahoo! Permits Banned Sites in Search Submit Program!

It was revealed in a thread at the Search Engine Watch forums that it is quite possible to get back into Yahoo Search after being banned by paying for reinclusion using Yahoo Search Submit. A member of the thread discussed his personal experience where he pointed out that even though his site was banned from Yahoo! Search and was denied re-inclusion into Yahoo's index, he still can guarantee inclusion via Yahoo's paid inclusion program. It was a surprise for him to see that his site was re-included into Yahoo's organic results. So the question that arises now is that is it really this easy to buy a spot in Yahoo?

Yahoo's paid inclusion is known as Search Submit and it allows the user to send Yahoo your pages, and if approved, Yahoo crawl those pages often, plus gives the users the ability to send them more meta data.But the point is that after being denied to the normal Yahoo crawl, how it is possible to be accepted into Yahoo's paid inclusion program. Both should follow the same quality content guidelines. Before getting displayed within the search results any page must meet Yahoo's overall quality guidelines.

The member explained the process:

1. Banned by Yahoo!
2. Made some changes
3. Given the opportunity to participate in Paid Inclusion, which you have to be good enough for regular inclusion to participate in.
4. Attempted regular inclusion…we were told NO.
5. Looking at Paid Inclusion again because we can advertise in the organic rankings with this product.

He further added that they are performing very well in the organic listings. So where is the quality element. Two parts of a same company with two different views.One find it not good enough to be included and on the other hand the second side accepts the rejected one. Which one is right?
