Yahoo! Search Index Update Begins

Just when we were suspicious about any further Weather Report or updates from Yahoo!, the search engine has announced their latest search index update for the month of February!

The search engine has further confirmed that the changes noted by the webmasters had been in the work for quiet a number of days.

"We’ve rolled out some changes to our index with fresh web data and updates to our crawling, indexing, and ranking algorithms over the last few days" Yahoo blogger Sharad Verma announced.

Throughout this process you may see some changes in ranking as well as some shuffling of the pages in the index.” he further added.

And what about the weather reports?

“While we didn’t do Weather Reports for the December and January updates, we heard loud and clear that the community still finds them helpful, so we’ll continue to provide these reports.”
