There has been a recent announcement at the Yahoo Video Blog regarding not only an update to Yahoo! Video, rather the launch of a whole new site. On this occasion, Kent from Yahoo! Video Team said "our new site makes everything about viewing, uploading, organizing, and presenting online video better. Yahoo! Video is now your one-stop shop for all video on Yahoo!, including music, movies, TV, news, sports and a whole lot more." With the latest changes made, the new Yahoo! Video now includes some cool features such as 16:9 cinematastic video player, maximum file size to around 150 megabytes, a whole spectrum of video found throughout Yahoo!, embeddable videos and playlists and more in-depth profiles.

However, the latest interactive Yahoo! Video is not totally new as there are few things from the old site also like comment titles and blank video players. So, get ready to show your favorite playlists and videos to the whole world. There is much more to explore and discover for the users.

It is very clear this time that Yahoo! is giving much emphasis on social networking. Recently, there has been lot coming from Yahoo! First the news of "Yahoo! Issues Pink Slips To At Least A 1000 Yahoos!" and later the announcement of "Yahoo!'s Announces Mobile News at Mobile World Congress!". Now the new look of Yahoo! Video. With its focus on social media, which is the most happening thing in the internet world, Yahoo! is surely going in the right direction.
